What if a few gentle taps could help you sleep better?

If you ever find yourself lying awake at night with a mind that just won’t switch off, you’re not alone. So many of my clients mention difficulties with sleep—whether it’s winding down after a busy day, staying asleep through the night, or waking up feeling anything but rested.

Sleep issues can show up in different ways, and anxiety often plays a big part. Racing thoughts, to-do lists that won’t stop growing, worries that pop up the moment your head hits the pillow, rehashing conversations that you wished went better… sound familiar?

That’s why I’ve created a soothing guided EFT tapping session, designed specifically to support you at bedtime.

What is EFT and How Can It Help?

EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Technique, often referred to as “tapping.” It’s a gentle, powerful tool that involves tapping on specific acupressure points (known as meridian points) on the body while focusing on a particular thought, emotion, or issue in combination with positive psychology.

I like to describe the meridians as rivers of energy flowing through our bodies, deeply connected to our emotional and physical well-being – basically the digestive system for our emotions. When we experience a shock, trauma, or ongoing stress, it’s as if a rock falls into the river—creating a blockage. EFT helps gently shift those rocks out of the way so the energy can flow freely again, just as it’s meant to.

This process helps interrupt looping thought patterns and calms the nervous system—making it especially helpful for easing night-time anxiety, when our minds often start to spiral.

A Guided Tapping Session to Help You Sleep

In this short video, I guide you through a calming EFT routine to ease anxiety and help you transition into rest. You can use it whenever you need—whether you’re struggling to fall asleep, waking during the night, or just want to unwind after a long day.

Give yourself 10 minutes, get cosy, and allow your body and mind to shift from tension to relaxation.

I’d love to hear how you find it, and whether it helps you drift off more peacefully. Feel free to drop me a message or share your experience.

Sweet dreams,
Gráinne
